It turns out that preparation day is still on Mondays; we had some miscommunication there. That's one of the problems with text messaging. We had a good week. We taught the woman that I mentioned last week that lives in Creemore. She doesn't seem too committal but she's willing to meet with us. We will see what happens there.
We had zone conference this week! There were four zones there: Barrie, Brampton, Missasauga, and the Great North. I saw a lot of old friends there, including Elder Bindrup, who is doing well in downtown Toronto. President Brower is getting released on August 29, 2011, which will be a sad day.
Elder Atwood found a crack in the front bumper of our car. It's on my side but I never would have noticed it because of how small it is. Apparently someone bumped into us in the Walmart parking lot or something like that. It'll probably cost a couple grand to get it fixed but the church wants it fixed and poor Elder Wade gets to go through the third car repair of his mission. If you could mail me a box of tissues, that would be great.
Last Tuesday we watched Joseph Smith: Prophet of the Restoration with Carol. It was really powerful; she asked why we hadn't shown it to her before. She hasn't been to church this last couple of weeks, which really concerns me. If we don't get her out soon, we might lose her to inactivity. I doubt she will ever lose her testimony but inactivity is a real danger. We'll be teaching her tonight.
